DioLix - Epi

For effective and long term
epilation the DioLix-Epi laser emits 90
Watt of laser power at 808 nm. Laser radiation
at these parameters is effectively absorbed by
melanin and shines through the underlying
tissue. There is close to no absorption in the
epidermis and dermis.
Laser Hair Removal
The DioLix-Epi laser
radiation is effectively absorbed by the Melanin
chromophore which is part of any hair shaft,
hair bulb and the hair itself.
The intense laser pulse
energy is instantly converted into localized
heat resulting in irreversible thermal damage to
the hair structure.
Clinical evaluation has
shown that the regrowth of the irradiated hair
is significantly and permanently reduced after
only one to three treatments.
Additionally the regrown
hairs were softer and lighter compare to before
the laser treatment.
Pulse Duration
The wide tuning range for
the laser pulse duration allows the user to
adjust the laser to the individual patient
allowing for the treatment of different hair and
skin types.
Clinical studies support
the use of long laser pulses (larger than 100
ms) applied by a cold tip laser applicator like
LISA’s BeautyCool. The cool touch
provides protection to the epidermis and reduces
any possible pain sensation. In addition long
laser pulses reduce the thermal load to the skin
and allows for more effective cooling. The
DioLix-Epi diode laser offers long laser
pulses and is best suited for the treatment of
patients with any skin type.
High Fluence
The high output power of
the DioLix-Epi laser provides effective
treatment even at large laser spot diameters.
The cold tip BeautyCool
applicator allows selecting the laser fluence in
a range of 1 to 550 J/cm². Even higher values
are available from the MultiFoc handpiece. The
laser display automatically shows the delivered
laser fluence to the skin according to the
selected laser parameters and applicator
configuration.
